Over 160,000 public servants sign up as PSSF registration exercise

More than 160,000 public servants have signed up on the PSSF member self-service portal following the Government‘s directive requiring all members to update their pension records by 14 August 2026.
The registration drive, which supports PSSF‘s pension modernisation agenda and the rollout of the Pension Administra tion System (PAS), has so far seen 160,544 members create accounts on the online platform, signaling strong momentum in the ongoing pension registra tion exercise.
However, the Fund has noted that many members are yet to com plete the full registration process. Of those who have signed up, 13,961 members have completed their personal registration (PSSS 1), while 11,017 have completed their benefici ary nomination (PSSS 2), marking full completion of the end-to-end regis tration process.
PSSF CEO Dr Jonah Aiyabei said the Fund is encouraging members who have already created accounts but have not completed the remaining steps to do so before the deadline.
“Members are required to provide their personal information together with details of their nominated beneficiaries and upload all prescribed supporting documents in the required format to complete the registration successfully,” Aiyabei added.
The ongoing exercise follows the Government directive requiring all PSSF members to update their personal and beneficiary information through the PSSF Member Self-Service Portal or the PSSF Mobile Application.
Accurate member records are essential for the successful imple mentation of the Pension Administration System, which is designed to deliver faster, more trans parent and more efficient pension services.
He added that complete and accurate member information remains the foundation of efficient pension administration and timely delivery of retirement benefits. “Creating an account is only the first step.
Members must complete both the enrolment and beneficiary nomination processes and submit the required supporting documents to ensure their records are complete.”
“This information enables the Fund to process retirement benefits more efficiently, improve data integrity and ensure benefits are paid to the rightful bene ficiaries when they fall due,“ he said.
Through the Pension Administration System, members can access their pension statements in real time, monitor contributi ons, view projected reti rement benefits, update personal information and beneficiary details, and initiate and track pension claims online.
The system also provi des employer institutions with a dedicated Sponsor Portal for electronic submission of payroll information, contribution schedules and member data, significantly improving efficiency and accountability in pension administration.
PSSF is urging all eligi ble public servants who have not yet registered, as well as those who have only partially completed the process, to finalise their registration before the 14 August 2026 dead line
